Rare Rides Company advertises on numerous websites including some of the most popular auto sales websites in the world. These include eBay Motors, Autotrader, Facebook Marketplace, and Hemmings to name a few. In addition to placing your vehicle in our climate controlled indoor showroom and a listing on our website as well as a variety of others, we also publish all of our inventory to various social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. 

The consignment process only takes a few minutes to fill out the necessary paperwork and get your vehicle checked in. When you arrive to our showroom, we request your vehicle arrives clean and showroom-ready with at least 1/4 tank of fuel. If your vehicle needs a full detailing to be showroom-ready, let us know, and we will give you a quote to perform this service for you.

Consignment Overview

• Submit information on your vehicle online or in our office. 
• If you need assistance with transporting your vehicle, let us know and we will recommend a transporter.
• Once your vehicle arrives, it will be evaluated and inspected.
• We will discuss the estimated value of the vehicle based on the current market, the condition ,and most importantly, the amount you want in your pocket when it sells.
• Sign the consignment agreement; via email or in our office. 
• Your vehicle will be posted to our website as well as numerous other classic car websites that reach all over the world with a detailed write up and 75+ photos. 
• And best of all, once we have done all the work to get your car sold, all you have to do is pick up your check!

What To Bring With You:
 

• Vehicle with at least ¼ tank of fuel
• Vehicle title in your name
• Valid  driver’s license for each title holder
• Proof of current insurance on the vehicle
• Any documentation you have on the vehicle such as history and maintenance records
• Accessories such as spare keys, trophies, car cover, etc.

Fees

There are no out of pocket expenses to get you started with our consignment process as long as your vehicle arrives in showroom condition. We take 12% or $2,000 of the sale, whichever is greater. Compared to our competitors, we have one of the lowest sales commissions in our industry! If your vehicle arrives needing a minor repair, we can evaluate the concern and either quote you a price or, if a repair is beyond our capabilities, we can recommend a professional to assist you. If your vehicle needs extra cleaning/detailing at the time of consignment, we will evaluate it and give you a quote for the cleaning.
