BODY OVERVIEW:
This isn’t the beat up old Datsun you drove back in high school. This 240Z is super straight, and shows pride of ownership since it was restored and customized. The panel alignment is good, and the doors, trunk, and hood open and close the way they should. As expected for a Z car in this price range, body imperfections are at a minimum. Prior to being painted, custom fender flares were fiberglassed seamlessly into the body for a more aggressive look and boy do they ever make a difference! Other body features include new door handles, new slim chrome bumpers, raised cowl hood, and chrome Fairlady lens covers. All of these tasteful features work together to give this Z a more aggressive look and a commanding street presence, and it looks fantastic!

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW:
Finished in a custom shade of Candy Apple Red, this Datsun was fully repainted in 2012 at a cost of over $10,000 and it really shows. At the risk of sounding like a stereotypical used car dealer, the pictures really do not do it justice as the candy paint absolutely glimmers in the sunlight. This is a car that would stop anyone in their tracks, whether they are a car enthusiast or not! Although this is an extremely high quality paint job, there are some minor defects consistent with a paint job that has been on the road this long. Though these imperfections do not detract from the curb appeal of the vehicle, they are present and have been photographed to the best of our ability. Overall, this 240Z is a jaw dropper and a show stopper anywhere it goes! 

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW:
Much like the exterior, the interior has been beautifully refinished to match. The seats and door panels are covered in custom carbon-fiber look material, a subtle custom touch that looks fantastic against the gray carpet and goes nicely with the black dash and Z-logo embroidered floor and trunk mats. Another nice subtle touch is the red seat stitching, for additional sports car flare! The gauges and dash were refinished during the restoration, interior lighting has been upgraded to LED, and the headliner, door handles, and window cranks were replaced as well. The carpet and mats were all replaced during the restoration. Because the car was in nice original condition prior to the restoration, many original interior parts were used and there is age related wear on some areas such as the center console and driver’s arm rest, but nothing that detracts from the appeal of this fine automobile. Just like the exterior, the interior has been tastefully customized during the restoration and is a beautiful contrast to the candy exterior. Interior features include a modern stereo, aftermarket heat/air controls, hidden battery shut off switch, MOMO pedal covers, and a beautiful aftermarket woodgrain steering wheel with Z logo horn button. This Z has been gone through from top to bottom with no expense spared! 

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW:
If this Z didn’t already have your attention, it will soon! Under the hood is a 12-valve 2.8L Nissan inline-six from a 280Z, complete with dual Weber carburetors, aluminum radiator, electric cooling fans, and a beautiful polished Nissan valve cover. The engine was fully rebuilt prior to installation and bored .040 over. But wait, there’s more! Other mechanical features and upgrades include a 5-speed manual transmission, 90 amp alternator, powder coated exhaust and headers, coil-over suspension on all four corners, front and rear strut bars, power four-wheel disc brakes, and OML performance spark plug wires with Flame Thrower II performance ignition coil. Not to mention air conditioning that actually works! Last but not least, it is sitting on a staggered set of custom 17” 2-piece CCW wheels wrapped in Kumho tires. This Datsun is a pleasure to drive. It sounds great through the aftermarket exhaust, and makes all the noises a classic Datsun performance car should make!  This is a turn-key vehicle ready to hit the streets.
