HIGHLIGHTS: What an incredible motoring experience! This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera has been lovingly maintained by the same owner for nearly 25 years! The way this car presents, you would never guess it had 164,000 miles on the odometer. That’s how you know this car has been driven and enjoyed for many years! Key features include a G50 transmission and Rennlist LED headlights. 

BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Porsche is incredibly straight, as should be expected of any car that has been cared for properly. After a minor collision 15 years ago, this car received a repair and a paint restoration and presents beautifully all these years later. 

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The Guards Red paint shines brilliantly, and some would say this is the ideal color choice for a 911 (and we’d certainly agree!). Imperfections on this vehicle are at a minimum, once again showcasing the care this car has received over the years given the mileage. 

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior condition also caters to the quality of care this car has received. Much like the exterior, the interior shows extremely well and really ties this car together as a high-quality vehicle in excellent driver condition. Interior features include cruise control, power looks, power mirrors, power windows, and even a power driver’s seat! All interior features are functioning as they should. Overall interior wear is at a minimum, a testament to a car that has been loved. 

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Not only is this Porsche well preserved, but it is largely original and unmolested–and that’s the way it should be! Under the hood is the 3.2L Porsche flat 6-cylinder that purrs the way only a Porsche can. But wait, there’s more! The transmission is the Porsche G50 5-speed manual, the more refined, heavier duty transmission available in these vehicles beginning in 1987. This Porsche drives like a dream, and is truly a driver’s car! Nighttime visibility is provided by a Rennlist LED headlight retrofit kit, a top shelf kit that is almost a necessity in the modern world.

Last but not least, an upper engine rebuild was performed in 2000 at approximately 100,000 miles, with the engine completely removed from the car. The transmission pilot bushing was replaced at the same time. 

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: What's not to love? This 911 is a great color, is in great condition, and has service and ownership history going back over 20 years. This puppy is ready to roll! 

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: We’re kind of stuck on this one. Maybe if you don’t like Porsches…? But if that’s the case, you’re not reading this anyway! 

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The A/C was converted to R134a a number of years ago, however it is not currently operational.
