BODY OVERVIEW:
This Mercury has all the right visual cues to turn heads at every stoplight! From the shaved door handles and trunk to the Frenched headlights, taillights, and antenna, the exterior is sleek and cohesive. Decorative lake pipes, removable fender skirts, dual spotlights, and a continental kit add just the right amount of period flair. The electric trunk popper is a nice functional touch, while the louvered hood hints at the performance underneath. Overall, the body appears to be very straight–as is no surprise on a vehicle that has received this much custom work! 

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW:
The bright copper metallic paint shifts beautifully in the light, ranging from a rich bronze to a bold orange tone depending on the angle. The dark copper two-tone highlights tie everything together perfectly, and also shift beautifully in the light from a dark brown to a lighter tone that blends with the rest of the paint. While this isn’t a fresh restoration, the paint still presents very well overall with minor imperfections consistent with an older custom build—nothing that takes away from its street presence or curb appeal! Known imperfections have been captured in photos to the best of our ability. 

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW:
Inside, this Merc is just as custom as the exterior! The two-tone synthetic leather seats, full-length front/rear center console, and finished trunk all match in both style and execution. The tilt column and chrome steering wheel add comfort and flash, while Autometer gauges, Vintage Air, and a Pioneer stereo bring a touch of modern convenience. There’s some wear on the seats from use, but overall it’s still a great place to enjoy the ride!

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW:
A Ford 302ci V8 with FiTech EFI (believed to have appx. 1,000 miles since installed) provides modern reliability with vintage charm. Backed by a TCI AOD 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, this Mercury is a cruiser that’s happy on city streets or open highways. Other upgraded features include an aluminum radiator, chrome accessories, MSD ignition, power steering with a polished remote reservoir, power brakes, adjustable rear air shocks, and a dual exhaust system with headers and Magnaflow mufflers. And don't forget the keyless entry with remote start! With the odometer showing 38,927 miles, it’s clear this car was built to be driven and has been!
