HISTORY:
In 1976, the original took delivery of this new MG B. It appears it was sold as part of a tourist delivery program, and then later exported to Greece. By the mid-1980s, the owner and the car were both in the United States. This car comes complete with photo documentation sent by the owner to the US proving the car had been made US-safety compliant. By the early 2000s, the original owner’s son had ownership of the vehicle, and kept it until 2020 when it was sold out of the family. Included with the sale of this vehicle are 3 thick folders of service records, import documentation, the original bill of sale, and more!
BODY OVERVIEW:
The body on this MG is in great condition , proof of the care and maintenance this car has received since it was new. The odometer shows 67,133 kilometers (41,714 miles), and although the paperwork with the vehicle doesn’t necessarily document this as accurate, the condition of the vehicle seems to support this mileage as accurate.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW:
The orange paint on this MG B is a great choice, and looks fantastic against the brown interior! It is not the original paint, but rather an older repaint that has held up extremely well over the years with defects at a minimum. The paint on this car has a brilliant shine, and shows nicely!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW:
The brown interior appears to be in largely original condition, and is in excellent shape for the age of the car. Much like the body, the interior condition seems to support the odometer reading. The interior is comfortable
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW:
In addition to the historical documentation included with this vehicle, there are a variety of included service records. All mechanical functions are working as they should with the exception of the heater. The tires are in like-new condition with a 2019 date code. Like all MGBs, this car likes a little choke on a cold start, but it always fires right up and idles smoothly! This is a driver’s car ready to be driven!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR:
The maintenance records and the high level of historical documentation–and that’s on top of the excellent overall condition!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR:
This particular MGB is really, REALLY hard to hate. It’s just that good!
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING?
Some buyers may choose to investigate the inoperational heater, but beyond that this car is absolutely turn-key!

Any individual seeking a well-documented MGB, or anyone simply seeking an affordable classic with a load of provenance!
